Create 52, 2016 {Vancouver, WA}

This year I decided to challenge myself to take/post at least one image every week. I joined a forum and in this forum this challenge was called "Create 52." All of these images are bookmarks throughout this year of things I tried and learned with photography. I learned about the power of single-source lighting and fell in love with garage light. I tried to take a step back and take some wider shots instead of my normal go-to, close-in, default. I attempted freelensing and fell in looooove with it! I incorporated flowers into a shoot and discovered I actually really loved that also. From dresses, dancers, water, snow, light patterns, movement... I experimented with it all during this project. I haven't decided if I'll be doing another one or not. My rules were that I needed to post one image a week and post is as the "create 52" for that week, and if I had to, I could choose older images to pull up and post. Those were my only rules. I did pretty well up until about week 37 where things sorta fell apart and my create 52 posts fell off the map. So I went back through and made the rest of the choices this week all in one fell swoop.

All along, my goal was to compile these images into a book, so I will be completing that project soon and will be making it available for purchase. :-) Thanks for following along! Should I do another in 2017?
